A friend of mine is doing a painting and wants to make it as authentic as possible. Thing is, he wants to have a scroll in it with some Chinese writing on it. I've looked, albeit not as hard as I could, but I'm not having much luck finding anyone/where I'd trust to translate the phrases he wants. Does anyone know of a site or an individual who can be trusted to do this? It's fairly important because he's always entering his work into art shows around Pittsburgh and it needs to be right.

Any help is appreciated.

Translating via a program is trouble. Every word has a context and meaning that a computer cannot sift through. If it is really that important, then you should go to a person who is fluent in the written and spoken word. Most words have a number of meanings that differ from each other. Each of those meanings will represented by a different word in a different language. Unless you truly know the language you won't be able to choose the appropriate word. Not to mention that such translators do not understand sentence structure and proper grammar.

我会给你翻译. 简体或者繁体都可以.

Plug that into a translator and email me back.
