Calvin and Hobbes and The Far Side are tied for my favorite...but I also love Queen of Wands. blush

Also, I've always had a place in my heart for Zits, Luann, Garfield (before it started sucking) Non Sequiter, Dilbert, and Pokey the Penguin.

Bloom County will always be my favorite comic strip.

The Far Side and Calvin and Hobbes are tied for second.

FoxTrot, going back since I was little it's still my fav for being the geekiest mainstream strip out there (I had a brief fling with Dilbert but it quickly became a one trick pony).

The Boondocks is excellent, especially the strips after 9/11 when he got more political. Stuff gets posted on his strip that you'd never see anywhere else in the newspaper; it's like The Daily Show in three panels.

Pearls Before Swine is also really good, it's never run in a local paper, but thankfully I discovered it some years ago when buying a subscription to comics.com.

I used to like User Friendly a lot, but I haven't read it in a while.

Calvin & Hobbes was the bizomb.

FoxTrot is amazingly, consitently funny.

Doonesbury hits the nail right on the head a lot- plus, reading old volumes is like a history text.

Boondocks is great because MacGruder just takes no prisoners.

For online comics, it's all about the Sluggy Freelance. How can you not love something with that kind of epic scope? That still loves awful puns?

Penny Arcade is pretty funny, most of the time.

8-bit theater is funny for those of us who are die-hard RPGers.
