I know that "emo" is supposed to be emotional music, but I've listened to some of it, and it's far from emotional; more like a screamfest. Some of the old JP, where halford is just whailing his feelings out, that's emotional. Not this screamfest music that's currently "happening." Everywhere I look, this is what i see. Most people I see like this usually skoff at me and my friends' long hair, because, they're just so hardcore! (the ones i've come in contact with do this anyway)

The thing with these emo kids are they're just trying to find a way to be different but yet fit in at the same time.
