Where do you fit in?

I play roleplaying games, so I'm more geeky than published science fiction/fantasy writers, scifi/fantasy fans, and video gamers.

On another note, I wish the Bruching Shuttlecocks still updated. I loved that site.

Well I like comic books and I play video games (but not RPGs), so I guess I am pretty ungeeky as far as the geek world is concerned. But that chart isn't very complete. I mean where is the column for us science geeks? No chemistry love on the geek hierarchy? wink

Wow. I fit into more of these boxes than I care to admit.

I must be very tiny.

(And yeah, Brunching Shuttlecocks really needs to update.)

I'd like to say "the video games/scifi television fans" but I used to be a Trekkie - I haven't seen Trek for ages, but I can still deal with the trivia questions. I just can't forget all that stuff. But I never kilingon.

I read SciFi lit, but I guess this is about the lowest one you can fit into. tongue

I guess I am not a geek because I don't fit any of those boxes--this will come as quite a surprise to anyone who knows me *rushes off to assert his studdom*

As a gamer I'd be glad to challenge a fantasy fiction enthusiast to a fistfight. Seriously, I'm trembling.

I play video games, which I don't think is a biggie but I do play 40K and love watching sci-fi TV which are pretty big blips on the geek radar. Comics are cool too. By the way why can you be all yiffie and not mention cosplay, never tried it myself (never found the right tights) but I'm all for it!
And I have been reliably informed I don't look like a I play 40K

who am i kidding I'm a geek biggrin

It made me cry the first time. The best from that one were Confused LARPer, Aiming The Wrong Way, and The Distractable Sniper.

Edit: Oh, and LiveJournal.com.

Yeah, same here. I mean, unless I can say that writing erotic furries fiction with Stargate SG:1 plots (instead of Star Trek) and me as a secondary character count.

Hmmm. I'm a Piers Anthony fan, and I play Roleplaying games.

I'm not sure I'd learn Klingon, but one of these days I'm going to learn Elvish... I wonder where that would fit.
