20 years

Did they give you anything?

A couple weeks ago, they finally held the annual luncheon for employees with 15, 20, 25, etc...years and gave everyone their years of service certificate and gift catalog. Most of the ones for 20 years are worth between $150 and $250, which is pretty nice. I'm torn between the Cuisinart countertop grill, the Krups espresso/coffeemaker, or a little refrigerator that would be about the right size for my cube. Decisions... decisions...

First of all I'd like to say that I'm in awe of all of you and your skill at keeping jobs. The longest I've ever kept a real job was like eight months. I've been at my current job for about a year and a half but I don't consider it a real job. You can quit real jobs.

14.5 years, but me and wife have discussed it, and once we have a kid (hopefully by the end of the year) I will be looking for something else.

I worked at Burger King for four years as a teenager. Then worked at a tattoo shop for about 2 or 3. Now I'm a stay at home mom and plan on keeping it that way until I open my own tattoo shop and/or start pursuing photography as a career.
