Okay, so there are a few things that reminded me of this tonight (not least among which are the new boogeyman movie coming out and the "Boogieman Cometh" episode of the Real Ghostbusters that I just watched), but it's basically been haunting me for the last few years. I remember this movie from my childhood that had a boogieman character in it, and he was this big old guy that was dressed like a thanksgiving pilgrim that had a white glow surrounding him. I can't for the life of me remember what movie it was, or who was in it, or even more of the plot synopsis. But, if there's anyone out there that might be able to help me figure out what movie that was, I would be eternally grateful and indebted to you in some way shape or form. Thanks ahead of time.

Was there a fat man with a black moustache in a red suit also?

Yes, I am being serious.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. My brother and I used to watch this all the time. It was on the Disney Channel or maybe Nickelodeon. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a real studio release movie. And I have no idea what it was called. But you are not alone.

it definitely wasn't phantasm (though that's an awesome movie), and it was definitely on the disney channel or something like that. i'm so happy to hear i'm not out of my gourd. it very well might be mr. boogedy. i'm gonna do some research.

edited to say: the timing is right...i think that might be it.

dude flight of the navigator was awesome. my girlfriend's brother has it on dvd. did you know that pee wee did the voice of max? and on a completely different note, does anyone remember flight of dragons? i almost bought a bootleg dvd of it at chiller over the weekend but opted to pick up real ghostbusters, monster squad, and clone high instead.

Yeah, that's it for sure. Thanks, I had almost forgotten it... Now the nightmares start again. tongue

I saw Flight of the Navigator at Walmart on DVD just before Christmas, along with a re-release of TRON.
