A morally upstanding Florida prostitute contacted police on Tuesday after servicing a customer at his apartment. She told detectives that her client, 29-year-old Federico Eduardo Amezaga, brought her back to his apartment, where she saw multitudes of child pornography.

The woman told police that it was a disturbing video that showed the rape of a younger child, perhaps no older than 2, that caused her to make the call after she left the apartment, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

[Detective Carlos] Negron said [that Amezaga] let investigators search his apartment, where they found numerous photos and videos of children performing sex acts.

Officers arrested Amezaga on 15 charges of possessing child pornography and took him to the Broward County Jail, where he was being held Friday in lieu of $150,000 bond.

See? Prostitutes do serve a purpose. We should love them financially just as they love us physically.

Am I supposed to be suprised that prostitues are people and actually have morals? Wait, wait.

No, I think we're supposed to be shocked. Otherwise this wouldn't be news.

So: "Oh my goodness. I can't believe that a nasty HOOKER turned in a man for child porn! I had just assssumed that since she sold her body for sex that she would be totally into the rape of a 2 year old child!"

thanks, I was trying to think of something to say but it either sounded to snarky or just didn't make sense but I think that sums it up for me too

I was rather surprised that the article didn't end with "Officers promptly arrested the prostitute as well."

It's a weird story because it's oddly comforting. He may not have been caught for a long time, if it hadn't been for her being there.

this sounds a lot to me like self-incrimination (I think that's what its called), where someone feels so guilty they subconsciously allow themselves to get caught. Just speculation, and not that he deserves any less of a punishment.

I think we're supposed to be impressed that she risked arrest herself to turn him in. Maybe that reporter has never heard of plea bargaining.

It shows how moral she really is, she finished the job before reporting it.

All morals are completely subjective. Once you realize that, this article either makes more sense, less sense, or becomes completely hilarious, depending on the disposition of the reader.

i dont necessarily think the story revolves around the fact that a prostitute can have morals. it doesnt seem (to me) to imply that her being a prostitute establishes her as a/immoral, and she triumphantly overcame that part of herself to report this guy.

I think it's more that she was performing an illegal activity and reported another. It would have been newsworthy if she had been a drug dealer instead, too.

You know , just about every single working girl I have ever known would do the same thing. Thats certainly not the issue. I suspect, as well, that the guy secretly wanted to turn himself in, and used the girl as a means to an end. Whats important is that the sick fucker is caught.

If the sick fuck had child porn showing a 2 year old, I would hope his partner in a coke-trafficking ring would turn him in.
