Jesus, it cost me at least twice that much in candy to strip just one 10 year old!

you need to learn how to barter, man. you got to start with tic tacs and act disinterested. don't move up to twix to quick.

Yeah, actually, I finally decided to spring for a cotton candy machine in my van. It was a tight fit with the dirty matress, but I made it work.

Strip searches at the Airport, by trained agents, as an issue of security may suck, but it doesn't upset me.

Strip searches at a School, by a teacher, over $10?!

If one of those children was mine, that principal would never be able to form a proper sentence again, let alone ever hold any authority over my offspring.

Yeah, seriously. Strip searching kids over $10? I don't care if it's legal; that doesn't make it right. I don't like strip searching, but I can see in cases why it might be neccessary, but this isn't one of them. It's a school, not a maximum security prison.

Hey now, I live in Texas. Even though most of Texas is mostly conservative(ex. TX spawned Bush) doesn't mean the U.S. could do without it. If you get rid of it you'd be getting rid of me(ex. an aggressive liberal). I'm here to fight and change what's wrong with America.
So keep your prejudices and generalizations to yourself.

It's not that your from Texas, it's what Texans stand for. They praise god every other sentance, and say the word 'liberal' a lot for some reason, preceded by 'goddamn'. They wear cowboy hats to the grocery store. And last but not least, there's a place in Armarillo, TX called Karl's Kar Kleaning, and yes, it is spelled with three 'K's. Not to offend you, but I must agree that the US may well be better off without that kind of ideology influencing the rest of the nation. Not all Texans are like that, it's just the majority and/or the influential that speaks for all of Texas.

Insert my usual rant about hypocritical people using lousy logic to justify their hatred of Texans.

The principal had it.

If I were a parent, it would have been so difficult not to hurt somebody.

Fuck Texas Bashers. This is bullshit.
Texas is on of the few states that the Feds take more money than they give back so with us gone you would have to tighten the belt some.
Also having lived in many parts of thge country I can say that in Houston great liberalism, diversity, and oportunity. Hell I think there is less racism in houston than almost any other part of the country I've been.

Also it is a private school!!
Parents don't like it(and I wouldn't) then stop giving them money. Problem solved

I don't like TX that much either, but some of these comments are just ignorant and narrow-minded; people can word their statements better without making assumptions.

Fuck Texas. It's an island of assholes.

Like this, for example.

If this had happened in California (actually it probably HAS happened in California, but somehow escaped media attention), no one would be blaming it on how fucked up California is or how we should just go ahead and sink into the ocean already. So lay off Texas.

Nobody objected to it. Most of the kids didn't mind because they wanted to get their name cleared

i was born on a tuesday, but not last tuesday. how can she, honestly, expect anyone to believe the kids really didn't have problem with this?
