Did you know that tentacle sex evolved from Japanese censorship regulations? It's true. You can't show the penis in hentai or yaoi. Well, actually, most mangakas get around that by putting a tiny little dot or bar somewhere on the penis, and everything's kosher. But, yeah, tentacle rape is supposedly a way pornographers got around censorship. It was okay to show a cephalopod's tentacle penetrating a girl, but it was not okay to show human-on-human sex.
