NEWS: Mississippi fire finally put out.

Well the rioting occured in LA after a Black man was beaten nearly to death, (caught on film) and the people who beat him were found innocent .

There are still all male schools... I don't think there are all-black schools either, there are schools that are traditonaly black because they were founded in a time when black people couldn't go to any other university, but I doubt these schools are race exclusive today.

You can definatly say the word "Nigger" on television and radio (listen to Howard Stern)

How is Dave Chapelle a racist? You point to cultural things that are a backlash of real racism in this country as proof of "reverse-racism." Black people can make fun of white people, it's socially acceptable because white people were never oppressed by black people, does that make sense?

Ah, well, that obviously justifies rioting and making it ok, and further justifies/accepts targeting whites. So I guess we should have hit the streets after OJ was found innocent of obvious murder of whites, eh? And the poor gay boy who was tortured to death-well, he and his killers were white so..uhh....lets riot against heterosexuals, it's ok now!

And get the bejeebus fined out of you. Are we even sure that the caller who said that was white? How often do you hear/see whites "allowed" to use derogatory terms intentionally (in roles other than "villainous white man who goes out of his way to victimize a random minority"?

Ever watched/listened? The man even dips to the bottom of the barrel with the played out "white people cant dance" joke. Again, cultural treatment differences-if I were to hop on national media and make a joke about none of my black coworkers being able to speak English properly, ohgoodness no! RACISM! Not funny!

So, racism can be justified. Gotcha. Now who's being a bigot? And hey-Egyptians were black, yea? They enslaved Jews? AWESOME. I HAVE FREE REIGN TO MOCK BLACKS NOW, "MY PEOPLE WERE OPPRESSED".

Going by that logic, let's see.....noone can get pissed off about jokes about all Germans being Nazis (hey, places have history, right?) because Jews were once oppressed (but being German and Jewish, can I be offended by my own statements and sue my own peoples?)....etc.

That logic also presents the loop of:blacks oppressed blacks and sold each other into slavery (to other tribes and to Europeans), so it's socially acceptable for me to make jokes at black expense since they've been oppressors too?

As I said....nothing is going to change so long as people cling to race and the past.

I never said rioting was okay, but the rioting wasn't caused by black people being racist against white people, it was caused by the disenfranchisement of the black community yet again, in relation to how they are treated by the police.

First off, white people can't dance. Second it isn't racist, he's making a joke, if you were to make a joke about "none of my black coworkers being able to speak English properly," you would be expanding the stereo type that black people are uneducated and stupid, it wouldn't make you a racist, but you would be skating on thin ice

Here's to buying into the hype-police are an all white organization specifically kept up to maintain oppression over blacks! "Disenfrachised"-is that a new "acceptable justification" for any violent actions? Why, then, were the riots not focused at police, Assault On Precint 13 style? Why not lynch the jurors who acquitted the cops? Hell, why get upset at all-yes, the beating was a bit severe, but hey-gotta control a raging crack addict somehow. I suggest you watch some video footage from the riots again, and try to tell me it wasnt white aimed.

Let's call up Howard Stern and ask him how much his fine was for his caller.

Uh...contradiction again, buddy. You're expanding a stereotype when you agree that white people cant dance. But hey, you know what-we cant. Hundreds-hell, thousands of years of dancing, and we had NO CLUE how to do it. Obviously, we lack ryhthm-who'd have thought with the most reknowned composers in history coming from the European areas, white people knew nothing about keeping a beat. 20th century rock drummers-now THERES a bunch of rhythmless hacks, too, all white!

Lets hear you defend it though-"justify" that "white people can't dance". Explain to me how this is accurate, and should be acceptable stereotyping; but to comment on the inability to prounounce one syllable words isnt acceptable. As far as "expanding the stereotype"-if I wanted to support racism and stoop to some REALLY petty levels, I could bring up statistics that "justify" the stereotype of blacks being uneducated/stupid. Just like your dancing comment, it boils down to personal choice-just as I, a white, can't dance because I choose not to give a shit (not a racial trait); someone who cant pronouce "four" (despite being a US citizen, not an immigrant) chooses to be uneducated and improper (also not a racial trait).

No, just pointing out how equally bigoted, illogical and stupid your "justifications" are-apply that same logic anywhere outside of the US and/or the 20th century, and your kind of thinking doesnt add up. Technically, though, if people born free in the 20th century can get away with calling themselves "victims" and demanding special treatment for the way ancestors were treated.....I guess I *AM* a victim! Chances are, though, that EVERYONE would be under that logic....

Doesnt matter what side of the fence you're on-wrong is wrong. The only "racial identity" is the one you decide to assign yourself, and nothing goes away while you're still picking at it. It's like a scab.

considering that of all the places i have lived, so far i have met far fewer bigots in the south then i have in the midwest and north east. It still amazes me to this day that people still stereotype the "deep south" as a bunch of inbreed racsict bastards.
