I'm really sorry, man. A while back I went to pick up my wife from work, and I watched one of her co-workers walk out, talking to his friend and laughing, and then get in his car and drive off. The next morning we heard that he had been killed instantly in a car accident just a few minutes after I saw him.

It's really sad how it can just happen like that. Take care of his family if you can. I'm sorry. frown

You'll probably need to return home sooner or later. Call your boss, tell her what happened, and work out emergency leave. It's difficult to make a decision when still in shock, but you'll want to grieve in the company of those who also loved your friend.
