Right here. I've ignored people even when it wasn't out of my way to answer the door...just because i don't feel like talking to one more person that day.

agreed. that's pretty annoying. I don't answer mine unless I am expecting a guest.

Well, I live in an apartment, so I usually try to see who it is. Doesn't mean I'll answer the door. Darn religious door-to-door types...

I never answer the door. or my phone. or get on AIM. I'm a hermit.

yeah the worst is when the phone rings and you KNOW its work wanting you to come in.

I'm sort of a bit anti social. I'm just VERY VERY shy around people i don't know.

If I'm too lazy to walk downstairs or can't find a shirt and pants in time I won't answer the door. But usually I'm expecting people when the doorbell rings so that's fairly rare.

Anti-social. Don't always go to the door or answer the phone. The futon understands me, they won't.

I never answer the door....or the phone for that matter. I'd rather just ignore the bill collectors than acknowledge the fact that I owe lots of money to people....

I used to stay up all night, every night so during the day I would sleep. Stupid people would bang on the door and the window and call with their cell. One time I was so pissed, everyone knew me and my wife slept during the day, I jumped up went into the living room to answer the door and my wife started yelling for me to come back into the room. That's when she pointed out to me I wasn't wearing any clothes...hmm... maybe I was having sex and that's why I was so pissed. Anyway my friend and his g/f were looking in the window, I think my small penised friend was embarrassed because his new g/f saw me naked.

I still live at home so the only time I answer the phone or door is when my bro is pretending to be out or if I'm expecting someone. If I'm the only one home I let it go.
As for mormons they're here right now talking to my parents. Stupid religion.

Sometimes, a homeless drunk man walks down my street in the middle of the night, goes into all the apartment building foyers, and rings all the apartment buzzers. It scared the crap out of me the first time because a) my apartment buzzer gives off a sound that is akin to an emergency alarm, and b) it was 4am. I feel bad sometimes because I know it's cold on the street....but I don't want anyone in my apartment building that doesn't belong there.
