It's really awesome to pick up the phone and hear the famous voice of H. Jon Benjamin talking to me. For many years I never even knew what he looked like. He was just the disembodied voice that was hysterical on such cartoon shows as Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist and the cult hit The Dick & Paula Celebrity Special.

But sadly enough much of Benjamin's work has not been available on DVD�until now. Shout Factory has just released the entire first season of the Adult Swim favorite, Home Movies,...

Great voices, very funny.

I've got the home movies dvd, the only problem is the show track is too loud and it's hard to hear the commentary, other than that, it's great. Home Movies is such an awesome show.

I would have rather continued picturing the voice of Coach McGuirk looking exactly like Coach McGuirk..but all n all a great interview. I never got a chance to watch much of Dr. Katz but from what i remember it was funny. I can't wait to buy the dvd. I was sorry there was no mention of his cameo in Wet Hot American Summer as the can of beans.

Prior to reading this interview, I only knew of this guy as Coach McGuirk (awesome) and from his cameos on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I had no idea he was such a prolific writer. I really want to see his short films now.

I'm not a fan of Home Movies, but I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Katz. And H. Jon Benjamin was my favorite part of that show.

Oh my goodness, how did i miss this interview? I love H Jon Benjamin. I'm also a huge fangirl and part-time stalker of Jonathan Katz. (he shops at my store, and i was a huge fangirl before i even worked there, so imagine my joy.) I have a copy of Home Movies signed by Jonathan Katz saying that i rock his word. And you don't! HAH!
But H Jon Benjamin is in a heck of a lot more stuff and i need see more of it. I've seen at least one episode of every squigglevision show. I loved them so much.
