This part gave me a good chuckle

I took this to the local community colledge and a professor there told me that the writing on the bottom here looked like somethiin called RUNES. I guess its an old kind of writing. He said he didnt know for sure what it said but it could be a curse or directions or something. I think is says that Trudy is a skank. NOW IF YA AINT GONNA BUY IT, DONT BID!

I'm so sick of these bogus ebay auctions done to grab headlines...which they do. Then 300 other asinine scammers make duplicate auctions to try to get bids for all the suckers that hear about the story on CNN. It's getting really, really tiresome.

It's not just this one - it's the ex-wife's wedding dress and the grilled cheese virgin mary and the ghost cane and the dad selling his kids' gifts. It's ridiculous and I'm sick of hearing about them. People bid because the auctions get attention, and then scammers feed off the hype and the ignorance of the people who bid on them. Ebay can be great, but shit like this just highlights the vast opportunities it also offers as a device for exploitation and attention whoring.
