eh. i've never really understood fashion.

if something i like comes into fashion, awesome, because that means i'll be able to find it easier. and i'm sure it'll go out of fashion again soon enough.

i saw the cover for a teen prom magazine the other day and it seriously looked like the model was wearing a dress from an 80's movie. i thought it was funny.

why are you assuming that they don't know the band they've got emblazoned across their t-shirts?

The way I look at it is every girl who wants to be punk by dressing as such is another girl who will potentially give me a handjob for being in a punk band.

How could that possibly be bad?

Twas back in the days when it was still occasionally considered okay to approach townies (or chavs as they're now known wink ) to see how their brains worked. Just for fun, like. i was young, so... anyway, i think the conversation was along these lines -

(greasy townie girl wearing an Motorhead shirt, bought from somewhere like Topshop, ie, NOT a 'proper' band tee, sat by fountain in large shopping centre)

me - hey, do you like Motorhead?
her - yer whot?
me - (trying to ignore her stench of Mcdonalds and man-made fabrics) Motorhead. The band. Like, on the shirt?
her - oi, stop lookin' at me tits HARHARGHHAR

and i must've blinked slowly or something cause then she goes -

'whot are yer onabout?'

Turns out she had no idea who Motorhead were. She 'just liked the design'. yeah, cause culturally unadventurous townie girls all want deminic pigs on their clothes, yeah?

Lol you're getting me all riled now wink
