I've been in this girls situtation. I didn't tell him, not before or after the test. Why freak him out needlessly? The few times I've had reason to suspect pregnancy (late period, but on the pill) I've never been too freaked out myself.. I figure it's just late, but I take a test to be sure. Since I've never been too worried about it, it's not a matter of him going through it with me. Also, I don't see the need to bring it up so we can be more careful... you can't really be more careful than properly using a contraceptive, except abstinence (and that's not an option shocked ).

Gotta go ignorance on this one. I had a girlfriend who was constantly worried about getting pregnant, and constantly worrying me about it, even though we were using birth control. Kind of screwed me up for a while. I think I'm still a little over paranoid.

P.S. She broke up with me and got knocked up a month or two later. Self-fulfilling prophecy?

What if you didn't even know you were pregnant and one day just had realy bad cramps. Turns out it was a miscarriage, now that is something you should tell a boyfriend.
Funny thing is we never talked about it even though I was heartbroken that i was pregnant and never even knew.
