What is the weirdest present you have ever given or received?

I'm giving my ex a Freud action figure. I bought it specifically because it is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Aren't action figures supposed to do stuff?

I got my sister a little toy horse that she could throw at people like in the movie Gladiator (I think). I haven't even seen the movie and I thought it was kinda dumb, but, hey, she got a kick out of it.

My father once gave me a can of bean dip for my birthday. Just that- nothing else. Not wrapped. Hid it in a fern on my front porch and then called to tell me to go look in the fern for my present.... surreal

we're gettin a friend a "volcano". One of those kiddie science things where you just add soda and water and it creates an "volcano" effect. Only cause the guy we're getting it for has everything he could want already.
He'll be getting beer as well.

As a teacher, I get all kinds of wierd crap, although the gifts seem to be waning as the years go on. I'm thankful in a way.

Two years ago, I received 2 gifts that were equal in their strangeness:

1) a 1 foot tall, pearlescent cross with a white boy kneeling in prayer at its foot. This from an adorable Mexican boy. It's a shame more images aren't made in culture appropriate skin hue. He likes god alot and apparantly thinks I do too or should, anyway.

2) a giant (2 foot tall maybe? it was in a sitting position) porceline faced doll. She had super curls, a fluffy dress, and was all ready to swing on her, attached, tree swing. This from a mother fighting me on a B+. I ask you, does a 25 year old need a giant, porceline, tree-swinging doll?
