Okay, I grew up in a Winter Wonderland. It's wartime. Snowball fight. Lain v. Steve v. Smelly. GO TIME!!!

I drove through blizzard conditions last night AFTER running out of windshield washer fluid. The only way I could see where I was going was to follow SYH. How he could navigate, I have no idea. We should NOT have been driving in that shit. I think our top freeway speed was 35.

On the way home today, the windshield washer fluid lines froze, rendering them useless. My car is coated with a thick layer of salt (not to mention the windshield). I kept having to stop to pour water on it so I could see.

Our bathtub pipes froze earlier today, and they just thawed. It's below zero, and our ancient windows are groaning as they frost over. I'm wearing flannel pajamas, a sweater, and fuzzy slippers. I have two comforters and a thick blanket on my bed.

I LOVE this state. I will never, ever move anywhere that doesn't get snow during the winter.
