That other ghost thread got me thinking about this one, and how much this statement irked me:

i'm curious, non-believers, how do you explain me being able to walk into a place and know there are ghosts without anyone having told me or even hinted at it before?

What this says is, "so for all you guys who don't believe in ghosts, how do you explain the fact that I believe in them?"

What the fuck kind of question is that?

It makes me huffy.

Sometimes I can tell if a house looks creepy, just by looking at it. Do you sometimes get scared, living next to a graveyard? Don't bother answering, cuz I already know.

Best innuendo EVER!

But back on the subject, I work at an old historic recording studio in Hollywood and one night a few of us were hanging out talking in the studio after hours and the subject of ghosts came up. It seems that each one of us had experienced multiple instances of feeling like we were in the presence of ghosts while in the studio. We figured that when you die, some people go to Heaven, some to Hell, or whatever, but some peoples souls stay around and inhabit the places they love. Just like some people may haunt a childhood home, the spirits of the thousands of musicians, engineers and producers who had spent thousands of hours in the studio working on what they love had eventually come back to stay and contribute to the vibe.
I then explained to them a specific instance where I was alone mixing a song in that very same room when out of the corner of my eye I saw a little boy standing in the doorway watching me. I turned, looked and could feel a presence there, kind of like an energy field. All I could do was acknowledge it and go about my work. The presence stayed with me the entire night.
Everyone took a moment to let the story sink in, but all of a sudden one of the engineers looked up and SCREAMED wide-eyed and pale - we all turned to see that a younger employee had just stepped in to the doorway.
