My band did an impromptu cover of "I Wanna Rock!" at one of out last shows. I heard someone in the crowd say "what do you want to do with your life." and I couldn't resist.
They were mercilessly ridiculed by "serious" metal heads (Queensryche fans) back in the 80's. I don't think anyone got how tongue-in-cheek their whole act was. I thought it was brilliant.

I have it on vinyl as well.
I actually liked them in the 80's before I started leaning more towards the punk scene. if you wanna talk about a band that was even more "mercilessly ridiculed by "serious" metal heads" think Quiet Riot.
