Idiot of the Day

Yeah I know.

But one thing I don't like about this country is the freedom for foreign people coming into the country that speak little english, and getting jobs. Even menial jobs, if they want to live here they should speak our language, and people going to other countries should have the same courtesy.

I'm going to Ireland dto live with a dutch famiy for a week, while the Irish do speak some sort of mangled english, the family speak dutch mostly but have good english skills too, they'll easily understand me speaking, but I'm learning dutch anyways just to make it halfway. It's common courtesy.

So if soemone comes into this country, i think they should at least learn English, perhaps not to a conversational level, they can pick that up while here, but enough to understand what we say when we say it.

Never seen the movie, and I hate politics, and I have no idea who that guy is. i've got political views, but I never keep up with politics, except the David Blunkett stuff, that shit's scandalous.

Michael Howard is the leader of the Conservative Party. You not knowing who he is says more about him and his party than it does about you.
