reprobate: Well spoken! (not that last part, but the longer comment above)
What I find most upsetting is that traditionally the Republican Party has been one that wants the government to butt out. The idea of personal liberty has long been a rallying cry for the Republicans, but it has in recent years been subverted. Now we have a policy of "us against them", as in: Democrats could not possibly want to reach the same goals as Republicans. Until very recently, the two parties had generally similar values and a desire to make the country a better place for themselves and their children. The culture of fear and divisiveness has been a major setback for political progress in this country, and until we (both sides) try to bridge the gap in good faith, we won't have constructive policy or true debate.
(Someone needs to tell Bush that 51% is not a mandate!)

I would probably avoid anything with the word "soviet" in it while there, if I were you. Those people are obviously still a few decades behind the curve...
??
Last time I checked I am engaged to be married soon. I have my assault weapons with high cap mags, flash hiders, collapsible stocks, pistol grips, and some very eeevil looking optics.
Shame that certain parties had to mess in others people's business and end up getting screwed because of it. No skin off my back though. Seems you guys don't like getting a taste of your own medicine.

What's going wrong?
Poems are for fags.
These are song lyrics, and if you've heard "Sweet Home Alabama," when they sing "Well I heard Mr. Young sing about her, I heard old Neil put her down" they are referring to this song, "Alabama," as well as "Southern Man."
