Sydni hit the nail on the head with this one.....especially if the eggs are scrambled with cheese on them. You could also add in some homemade bisciuts and a good hot cup of coffee. wink biggrin

I'll burn in hell for this, but I don't like to eat much in the morning. I usually make some fresh juice from whatever fruits or veggies I have around the house. I also make coffee or tea and take it to work with me.

On occasion, I have a big breakfast though. Probably my favorite if I'm feeling naughty is steak and eggs (scrambled with fixins or maybe an omelette), with buttermilk biscuits and some sort of fried potato side.

Bacon egg and chizzese on a rizzoll. But I'm on a diet, so I've been eating the incredibly boring Cliff Bar lately.

My breakfast consists of three cups of black tea, two slices of toast with crunchy peanut butter and three cigarettes.

Now it's winter I've been eating the kids ready brek instead of the toast (dunno if you guys get it, it's like instant porridge) it's really nice with a handfull of raisins and sesame seeds thrown in.

Pancakes or french toast with blueberries or strawberries and whipped cream on them. And I love the home fries they serve at Bob Evans. And scrambled eggs with cheese are delicious too.

Or warm krispy kremes.....too bad there isn't one in town.

anything 5-alarm or hotter is fine by me.

lately my preference has been a lil hash brown concoction:

--- hedgebrowns:

  • 1 potato, chopped and boiled till softened

  • chopped green & red pepper

  • chopped onion

  • few dashes of onion powder

  • ground pepper

  • crushed red pepper flakes

  • about half a cup of tostitos salsa con queso (or homemade equivalent)

  • sliced ham

  • dash of cayanne pepper, garlic powder or bit of a crushed clove

  • optional: few chopped up bits of of monteray pepperjack cheese and some

  • tablespoon-ish of louisianna hot sauce. edit: (or spring for a decent-sized jalepeno and chop a good 3/4ths of that up. always a wise decision.)

fry everything but the salsa con queso and the pepperjack over medium high heat in olive oil. i usually used sliced deli ham and just break it apart into little bits when i'm tossing it in. those low fat/carb baconbits they sell near-everywhere now aren't bad either.

about a minute before everything looks decent, toss in the con queso stuff. i really hate near all fake cheese, but this stuff is magic.

if you've got an oven with a broiler, pop it in there and brown/crisp the top of it to taste.

toss the pepperjack in just as you're about to finish off.

then break out with the black coffee and start replying to email :]

!!!!!!!!! no shit. reason 4,398 to live in nyc. youre never more than two blocks away from one of these. not only are they made to order but they only cost two bucks.

i like mine: egg, bacon, cheese on a rizzoll with pepper and a little ketchup.

"breakfast" (bacon eggs toast coffee juice) is still the only tattoo i would ever consider getting.
