If you get a chance... check out "Lee Evans: Live" Absolutely brilliant!

Any U.K. members want to back me up on that?

Absolutely hilarious. My particular favourites would have to be 'Live in Scotland' and 'Wired and Wonderful'

Pure comedy genius

Britian: Home of some of the best and worst comedies ever made.

Monty Python (and all spinoffs), Eddie Izzard, Rowan Atkinson, Billy Connolly, and early Benny Hill are the exceptions, not the rule.

Most british "humor" is british, very british, pretty dull, not all that witty, and only funny to brits. It's just sad when a horribly unfunny show like "Ab Fab" gets airplay or some other weird, yet unfunny show gets airplay because it's weird and people laugh akwardly like there are jokes there.

Big big credit to those standouts I mentioned, but as I see it most british humor doesn't work accross the pond.

I didn't like ab fab, but there were jokes in there.

I didn't really like "The Fast Show", it seemed to be a show of just catch phrases and few jokes. It was insanely popular for a while. Watching the repeats is painful

While I'm here I'll recommend anything that has Chris Morris in, especially "Brass Eye", a spoof news/current affairs programme.

I'm a big fan of Father Ted. Ardal O'Hanlon is fucking hysterical...it's a shame he hasn't really caught on over here.

In terms of comedians, I love Robbie Coltrane. Oh, and Rowan Atkinson doing standup and sketch comedy is hysterical.
