AARRGGHH! I hate these applications! I think they're supposed to test how good you are at guessing what they want you to say, because they sure don't test how honest you are! mad mad mad

Dude, don't lie too much. Target has a test like that too, and if you give too many "good answers" it will flag the test "questionable" the same as if you're mildly psychopathic.

Try to be at least sort of honest. Everyone has at least one or two people they can't stand, and the shrinks that write the test know that. If you answer "SD" the computer will just note that you're a liar.

I tried to put as many Agrees and Disagrees as possible, instead of SD, and I intentionally answered a few honestly. Heh.

I had to take one of those in person - but for every answer I had to back it up with a personal anecdote proving the answer. 45 minutes long and the whole thing reeked of bullshit. They hired me, but said they wouldn't have a position for another two months. Fuckwads.

I always answer honestly when it asks about drugs. I'm not interested in working for a company that has a problem with me smoking at home on my own time.

We often get these multiple choice questionaire pain in the ass things at work.
We do have a 'don't know/have no opinion' choice usually. Maybe they expect us to be more apathetic in the UK. whatever

I fucking love the Best Buy application process. They ask if you ever lie - yes or no.

To answer that question honestly, you will never get a job with them. You have to lie and say no to be able to get the job, therefore defeating the whole purpose of saying you don't lie.

You just gotta answer how you think they'd want you to man ... it's that simple.

I love when they ask if you'd fire someone for stealing $5 in merchandise, and if you say yes, the next question is ... okay - how about $10?

Like - fucking d'uh - I said I'd fire them for stealing $5 worth of stuff. Then they go on to ask - okay, what about $25?

Dude - think about it - do you really want to work for Best Buy when they ask those stupid questions?
