It's also been claimed that Mary de Magdalene was the Holy Grail, in the sense that she herself carried the blood of the Christ in the form of a child. The Da Vinci Code made that claim, I believe.

Holy Blood, Holy Grail is the crappiest pile of crap to crap upon a crap-tastic crap zone. Every 5th page is another 90 degree conjecture, deeper into the authors' mad conspiracy theories.

I dunno. I really WANTED to believe, damnit (especially right after having played Gabriel Knight III) but the possibility of Christ's child roaming the earth (as a Frenchman, no doubt) seems rather slim.
