Weird that they were going to Russia and not coming from Russia.

It's a shame that these useful toys aren't going to be donated to mentally disabled children in Russian homes. frown frown

This would have given Lego(TM) some good publicity.

Obviously, the Russian mob has outsourced the fake Lego manufacturing to a cheaper country.

However, in the other news, they mentioned that: "These toys were exact copies of Legos without the company logo. They could not be donated as they included heavy metals that could be dangerous to tots." Do the originals have heavy metals, too? whatever

I wonder how much they'd pay for all my Legos from my childhood.

I should have never given them away to that little cholo kid.

Believe it or not, I supported myself for about a year going to garage sales and 2nd hand stores, buying lego, completing sets and slammin em on eBay.
People are psycho about this stuff.
Certain single bricks would fetch upwards of $50.

I too assumed from the title of this thread that the article would be about legos made out of heroin. I'm a little dissapointed.

Wait a minute. Aren't Legos made of plastic? Shouldn't those people be burning something else, like WOOD or maybe even COAL for their energy? (I know, people will think this remark terribly cruel, but c'mon. Logic has got to figure into this somewhere. Burning Legos for energy is kind of like saying "Well, we're out of firewood so let's burn the computer instead. That'll keep us warm!)
