I was at a bookstore today and a fellow shopper caught my eye. In recollection the multitude details are lost to me. i just remember blue eyes and black hair and her cheekbones. of course i didn't approach her. but i wish i had.

does anyone ever approach that beautiful girl in the bookstore?

Uaually only if she's the cashier.

Not true. Sometimes she's working at the adjoining coffee shop.

"I happened to notice you look at me, I thought I'd come over and say 'hi.' Sooo...do you like reading?"

Eye-contact is inevitable....I wouldn't read too, too much into it.

Just kidding. Say hello and see what happens. Just be prepared to walk away if you've made a mistake. Book store cafes are great for this because if you do get a chat going you can invite them for a coffee without the complications of locating a 2nd location.
