er, no - I had terrible acne, and still have a bit. however, I don't eat the crappy food I used to, and I rarely have the same kind of breakouts I used to. I've had skin problems since I was like 6, but I've noticed a very strong correlation between my excercise/dietary habits and what happens on my skin

Yeah, that's the other flaw. I think people could only buy this in our current image-obsessed culture. I think our ancestors would be happy enough to nail a chick with all her teeth and no festering wounds or lice.

evolutionarily speaking, even in our current image-based culture, wouldnt this just mean that us acne covered people would simply be breeding with each other?? (and since there seems to be more of us already, the numbers can only grow )
interestingly enough this did however make the list of reasons for my Ex and I not to breed, as we decided that the combination of our horrid acne genes would result in children whose faces disappeared under the massive numbers of zits. (he was actually at one point put on medication for leprosy by his dermotologist, you know, since they ran out of other ideas, and yet still somehow managed to find abut 50 some-odd women to have sex with him over the years so i dont think its hurting him too much)

yeah... that's the problem. i think a concrete-filled bit of pvc pipe may be better for keeping skeevy men away than any amount of acne.

See, that's not fair. In my family, we don't get acne until we're at least 18, and then it gets horribly, horribly bad.
If the theory mentioned above is correct, maybe it means I was in my peak reproductive years from age 9-17. Eeeeew.

See.... no one in my family ever got acne.... my younger brothers, no one. so when i got past my 16 b-day unscathed, I thought I was lucky. I was wrong. Im 18 now and I have it pretty bad.... well, I shouldn't say that. I don't have it too bad, but it is still annoying. This article is definitely wrong. I looked like a 12 year old boy up until i was almost 18. Then I got hips and i grew from an A cup to a DD in less than 4 months. It was ridiculous. I got the boobs I always wanted, but then a few months later... here comes the skin disaster. I hit puberty late, setting off the acne. That's all that it was.
