Things that annoy you but shouldn't...

I don't like palindromes; they irk me. I can't stand having a palindromed number of comments, and I routinely comment my journal to fix it or ask friends to do it for me. I don't like prime numbers unless they end in 3. I don't like numbers that even look prime. Having 19 comments inspired this thread.

I can't leave a door almost closed. I will get up and walk across a large room to close a door. Repeatedly.

Please indulge me with odd things that annoy you so that I don't feel like such a freak.

Sounds annoy me. People drinking water. People breathing. People sounds bother me.

Cats scratching the carpet with their claws makes my skin crawl!! If there was such a thing as a psychosomatic allergy, this would be mine.

Otherwise, I love cats.

Chewing noises.
The word ointment. Also, moist.
When the bus stops at EVERY fucking stop.
People that make sound effects.
The word 'retard'.
People that insist on attempting to communicate through speaking loudly to deaf people & making up their own signs though I'm right fucking there getting paid to translate.

I hate it when people put anything in an ashtray not directly related to smoking. An ashtray is not the place for anyhting but tobacco products, and the matches used to light them.
Gum in an ashtray will literally make me leave the room.

I hate the sound of the vacuum cleaner. And the lawn mower. I hate stray hairs on other people's clothes, I want to pick them off, even strangers (especially at the movies.) I hate the idea of salt and pepper chips.

I hate people cooking on "high"..... Nothing needs to be cooked there...
And tying my shoes without lotion on my hands.....
The words "throbbing" or "pulsating".....
