Omnivore means feeding on both animal and vegetable substances.

Don't you think getting offended by a dictionary definition is taking it a little far?

Dictionaries are pretty oppressive. I mean, who do they think they are, giving out "definitions"?

Little known Flux fact: I actually chose my name for that definition #1 up there. I figured, hell, who doesn't love a little bowel discharge.

Come on, man....you don't see that it's even the slightest bit of a superficial argument?

Superficial in it's contextual environment, maybe, I just don't like being defined as an 'omnivore' by a Vegan. I have friends for Santa Cruz who tend to agree that it goes a bit far to make a fine line between the sacred and profane of "Vegans", self chosen connotation, and "Omnivore", epithet used to described non-vegans. It's like the word "infidel" to me, or "goy"...

I didn't exactly expect that anyone would agree to me, but omnivore, when refering to humans has come up about 0% in my life, and my older best friend was Vegan, and though she shook her finger at me for my diet in a kidding way, she never called me an 'omnivore'... oh well, lets drop it.

I like the dictionary, it's full of words like poultice, cicatrix, tor, ford, bourne, etc etc... I just hate being labled.

I sleep in a drawer. What do you want?

Concentrated & Crosseyed, now THAT is a dangerous combination.

I leave solid dreams and loose connections. I leave a promising path, that has promised me self-despise and common recognition. I leave a poor reputation and the promise of an even worse. I leave a few hundred thousand words, some written in rapture, most written in boredom and for money. I leave a lousy economy, a wavering stand towards the questions of the day, a better used doubt and a hope of liberation.
-

I take with me on the journey a useless knowledge of the earth's globe, a superficial knowledge of the philosophies and the third party, a longing for extinction and a hope of liberation. I take with me, moreso, a deck of cards, a typewriter and an unhappy love for the european youth. I take with me finally the vision of an epitaph, raised in the desert or on the bottom of the sea and with the following inscription :

HERE RESTS
A SWEDISH AUTHOR
FALLEN FOR NOTHING
THE CRIME WAS INNOCENCE
FORGET HIM OFTEN.
