okay. i wasn't trying to be an attention whore or whatever you all think i am by posting something like i did, i was only putting down some honest emotion like other people do about bands and junk. but somehow the "buck up" comment cemented it. so here it is--
forget i said anything.

I made the decision not to do this about 2.5 years ago. I've been happier since, and it scares me to think of the cool things I'd have missed and people I wouldn't have met. I'm grateful, every single day, that I never went through with it. Even when things get horrible, they pale in comparison to the day I almost died. I have a much better perspective now.

...When they were not arguing, the boredom was so fierce that one day the old woman ventured to say, "I should like to know which is worse, being raped a hundred times by negro pirates, having a buttock cut off, running the gauntlet in the Bulgar army, being flogged and hanged in an auto-da-fé, being dissected, and rowing in the galleys —experiencing, in a word, all the miseries through which we have passed— or else just sitting here and doing nothing?" "It's a hard question", said Candide. These words gave rise to new reflections, and Martin in particular concluded that man was bound to live either in convulsions of misery or in the lethargy of boredom.

Thanks for posting that Sorcha.

As for me, I've thought quite a few time to just off myself.

It's never worth it in the end, espcially the pain you cause others when you're gone.

And there will be pain for them. trust me.
