i always thought a nice Spice Girls tribute would be catchy...a montage of all their faces capturing their different and unique peronalities ...

I personally would check out a bunch of comics and anime, then look up real pics. If the samurai is what you want to do, I'd go anime with a whole scene behind him (like an army/banners/waterfalls/etc... ) and if you're going realistic/portrait style...I'd go with the same scene idea but with blacks/greys/and reds with no outlines and a bunch of negative. With the anime thing I'd be more interested in making it bright and have great 3-D looking angles. Goodluck.

Or, really, you could do research on an tattoo artist whose style you like and then commission them to do the research and work for you. Let them figure it out.

awww man...

when I thought you had 113 tattoos, this didn't seem like such a bad idea, but with so much space left on your body to have things that could actually mean something deep to you personally...

don't do this. think about it yourself. get an idea of something intimate and meaningful TO YOU and put that in your skin.

as much as I love getting work done (I have quite a few tattoos myself) I really think that you have to take some time into deciding on what tattoos you get. Unless you have money to burn on crazy expensive surgery, they're a permanent part of you. Don't go through life regretting a permanent mark you've made on yourself because "somebody on the internet came up with the idea".

if SuicideGirls is TRULY something you feel so deep about that you want it do decide how your body is going to look forever, then more power to you....but you may as well just cut to the chase and get the SG logo.

having previous ink done yourself, I'm sure you've thought of these things already, and you probably don't need my lecture....but somebody has to be the stormcloud skull

If I am ever completely convinced someone will be able to draw it as a tattoo properly, I will get The Doubtful Guest by Edward Gorey.

i am going to draw it myself and incorporate something about my life in it. I just wanted to get some inspiration from you guys. So dont think I am just going to copy someone's idea on my skin. And I am well aware of how permanent a tat is. But I do appriciate the concern, and I always appriciate the ideas. So thank you guys.

my advice would be to just wait, forget about the whole thing for a while and let the idea just come to you.

no offense, but fuck waiting. I have never had anything good happen to me by just sitting back and waiting. I have a good basic idea now of what I want and now I have something to work on with my local tat artist. By the way, will you guys check out my pics in my profile. A few buddies and I are going to start a web comic and I have a few concept drawings of characters I would like your opinions on.
