try going to the device manager by right clicking on my computer, and removing both of those devices completely then rebooting. make sure to have your windows cd in, or your graphics cd in so you can install the drivers easily.

if this doesn't help, i'd be happy to help more.

Heh. It's okay. And no, since at my house I can't get onto the net so I'm across town at my mom's house. I called microsoft and they suggested I contact pionex and they have a list with a bunch of drivers but I have no idea which one I should choose. I'll just die. smile Pionex doesn't have support anymore.

It said at first unknown device. And then he made me remove it. So I downloaded two drivers under OEM or something which is the only think I could recall seeing on my computer. I'll have to try that, I guess. I just want to get online at home.

I am positive I am not making any sense. I can't explain it without being on my computer. I'll just have to play around with it and hope it works.

that sounds like the only problem.. finding the drivers. if you're on the site try and find your specific computer model and maybe that will help in the search for them..

3Com 3CP2976-OEM-50 D/F/V/S PCI modem

This is what I saved to disk to take home because I remember OEM is in my serial number or something.
