Well, today's been a bit depressing actually. But still, I'm happy the stem cell bill in California passed. I know, that's political, but hopefully we're going to find some cures for sick people. If that happens, then that will be a good thing.

This is a good thread, by the way, I'm going to bump it a few times. We need to keep track of the things that make us happy.

What made my day? Well it wasnt getting on SG and escaping all the "V-Day" crap. Sure I wanna find out who was elected, but I dont wanna listen to speculations and watch the little charts change for 8 hours.

Other than that this day has been non-stop political bullshit and a bad case of the wanabi-trots.

I was at the polls this morning at an elementary school. Watched a kid kick another kid in the crotch. It made me smile all day.

thank you, i was trying to distract everyone from the political fiascos. although i agree it is extremely important, i was feeling a little down about it. and i didn't feel like i was alone in that sentiment.

Today, comic book day. Some great books came out today, it should make for some good escapism.

Oh, and listening to At the Drive-In while reading said comics

Is this the same as "Free comic book day" that happened over here, um, one day, sometime? I've never seen so many people in Forbidden Planet. Ever.

1. Getting tickets to go see Adrian Peterson and Oklahoma crush Texas A&M this weekend with my best friend in the press box at college station

2. Finding out Victor Zambrano does not need Flexor Tendon Surgery

3. Knicks Opening Day/Fantasy Draft-Drink to forget gathering at my house amongst old friends.

It's not sexy, but it's pleasing to the Trash Man

1. My kid cracked me up this morning. After I got dressed for work, she looked at me and said, 'Mommy, you look sehk-SAAAAY.' biggrin She's the best.

2. The gas station across the street started selling turkey jerky again.

3. I have enough money to pay bills AND buy groceries without resorting to credit card usage.

Edited to add number 4.

4. This. This makes me obscenely happy.
