Definitely block the sender. I used to have weird shit happen in msn messenger. Some asshole added me as a contact and wouldn't tell me who he/she was or reply to my e-mails. It made me paranoid.

is going to look like a werido here but oh well...

Gor is a lifestyle based on a series of novels I read... I am in no way involed with this lifestyle but I enjoy the sicence fiction novels written by John "Norman" Lange

There is a series of 26 books in all so far and a 27th on the way... if you would like to know more about these books and the lifestyle that these people live online and offline I can try and explain as much as I can even though I dont practice the lifestyle I do read the books.

Please elaborate, I've run into references to the Tuchux on SCA websites refering to them as a band of mercenaries that shows up at Pensic every year, apparently their 'culture' is based of these books.

Its like a cross between renaissance and BDSM... the subs are called slaves...

Based on the books....
Simply Gor is a fictitious planet that is in the same orbit as Earth, but on the opposite side of the Sun. It is a barbaric world, ruled by steel and concerned with honor. It is primarily a male dominated world where slavery is an ancient and universally accepted institution. There are restrictions on many forms of technology but in a few limited areas their technology far surpasses Earth technology. For example, Gorean Physicians have created the Stabilization Serums, a cure for aging. This cure would be priceless on Earth. Many aspects of Gorean culture were inspired by Earth cultures such as ancient Greece and Rome, the Vikings, Mongols, Alans, Native Americans Muslims and Inuit.

Many people have many different ideas as to what Gor is actually all about. Gor is a fantasy world, also known as Counter-Earth, because it is supposed to spin on an orbit that's exactly opposite to the Earth, thus hiding it from us at all times as it sits on the other side of our sun. The world of Gor is detailed in a series of 26 best-selling books written by John Norman. Norman is a pseudonym for John Lange, a university philosophy professor. There are reportedly negotiations for at least one more perhaps more to follow if "Witness of Gor" is as successful financially as the first 25 have been. Prize of Gor is the proposed title for the next novel in the series. The book is currently announced as forthcoming in 2004. Presently, the series consists of over 10,000 pages, a vast amount of information.

ok now I sound worse then a treckie trying to explain why they like star treck... honestly I have no clue as to why anyone tries to live the Gorean lifestyle... all I know is that if you like romance/sicence fiction then you might like reading these books... who knows...
