28 degrees outside and I still stood out there to smoke three in a row because I can't smoke inside. Taxed crack indeed.

The only reason anybody takes up cigarettes is to look cool. And, let's be honest, it does look cool, usually.

The only reason most people I know continue to smoke is habit. Very few are actually addicted on a deep level, it's mostly to do with masking thier social uncomfortability or to give them "something to do with thier hands".

I've been a cigarette smoker twice, given up twice. I've not smoked a cigarette in four years, though I do smoke weed. I figure if I'm gonna inhale a significant amount of carcinogens on a daily basis, I might as well get something worthwhile in return.

But, you know, I'm not pro or anti really. I don't care if my friends want to smoke.

Actually, I started smoking the first time I tried to kick a pretty serious drug habit.
It had nothing to do with being cool, i had much more to do with substitution.

Taxed crack and death popsicle. Though I really don't get the point when people tell people who smoke that they're hurting themselves. Anyone who isn't aware of that by now, if there is one, is so stupid that they deserve to die.

If gangsters ever did talk like that, they should never have gone away. Hell, I'd support organized crime.

Never took it up -- my lungs are healthy and pink.

Although I'm surrounded by so much second hand smoke, I might just be better off smoking.

Enfant: $2 a pack! Blimey. Think £5 a pack over here. Thankful I don't smoke, have enough trouble getting by as it is...

I really don't believe that anything good can come of cigarettes at all. They're one of the world's most useless inventions.

My mother is amusing, though - she refuses to use air fresheners because she believes they'll give her cancer, yet she smokes at least 20 Embassy No.1 a day...

You live in Brooklyn. Your lungs are not healthy and pink. NYC isn't known for it's pristine air.
