Oh, National Novel Writing Month.

I know a few people doing it, a couple doing collaborative efforts. I'm not doing it...I'm telling myself it's because I'm too busy but really it's because I'm a chronic procrastinator and I don't want another unfinished project making me feel bad about myself.

Yeah. What he said. smile

I'm trying it for the first time this year. Haven't started yet, but I'm pretty hopeful. I was just wondering if there was anyone on here to talk about it with. smile

I applied for the group. Hopefully it'll get approved in time (if at all).

I kind of want to do this, but I don't know if I have the time, or an idea/plan/outline of any sort. Still, it sounds like fun...

i would recommend trying to do about 2000 words a day, and that will get you to 60000 for the month which is 10000 more than you need, so if you have a few off days you'll still make it out okay.

my ex boyfriend has been trying for about 3 years and never succeeded. writer's block's a bitch.

good luck!

I feel simultaneously dorky and awesome for knowing what NaNoWriMo is without reading the thread.

My group didn't get approved. But that's probably cause there's already a writer's group. (duh! Should have checked that first. blush )
