well no not really, a remake is were they remake the film useing the same scrip, everything else can be changed as they see fit, there remakeing it for this time, not re shooting it, if it was exactly the same whats the point,

look at Alifi, its a complestely diffrent film, and italian job as well

what? surreal

what i ment was, peaplo who don't see the point in remakes seem to think the film will be exactly the same, it won't most remakes just use the same script or take the original script and change bits in it, this film wil proberly have a slightly diffrent take on the book then the original did, when they remake films they don't have to make exactly word for word as that is highly stupid, were as if they change it it makes it a remake still just a diffrent film as well, a chief example is italian job, i mean the remake wasn't even in italy and at the end they got the gold the money and got away, unlikke teh original (witch is far superior) but they are basiclt difent takes on the same script so to speek

if that makes any scence

i was confused because i'm pretty darn sure that most remakes do not use the same script. it's just another take on the same story.

but this version of it will be lacking in the classic 'one of the oompah-loompah's trying to do a cartwheel but failing miserably' moment.

Okay, I know it's silly to have a crush on a celebrity, but goodness. It's not just his physical appearance either, it's like he exudes sexiness from within.

Anyone know if Danny Elfman is doing the music? If anyone rivals Johnny Depp as far as celebrity crushes, it's him love

Boo. I have cringed about this ever since I heard it got the green light.

Tim Burton is an amazing DESIGNER. But a good director he is not, in my opinion. With the exception of Ed Wood, which was carried completely on Depp and Landau's shoulders, his films generally lack genuine emotion. I'm sure this will be the same.

Best thing about johnny Depp:

"HEY JOHNNY IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS FUCKING COUNTRY, WHY DON'T YOU...WHY DON'T YOU MOVE TO FUCKING FRANCE!!!!"

Guess what, he did.

Worst thing about johnny depp:

The pirates of the carribean.

P.S. This movie is going to be even creepier than the original. I'm curious as to see how it turns out.
