It seems that children born after 1985 have had some shitty entertainment marketed to them. I'm glad I was born in 80...whew

I am so glad I got to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a kid, and not this garbage.

Seriously, if you're eight years old now, you're either watching Spongebob or nothing at all.

Turtles mutated into teenage kickboxers who live in the sewer and eat nothing but pizza. Great role models.

I'll vaguely remember it if you vouch for me that Camp (as in John) Candy exists.

Yes it does, or errr...did. Camp Candy was awesome. Didn't Bill Murray do a guest appearance?

Having enjoyed fully the greatness that was transformers and thundercats and G.I.JOE and etc, etc, etc., I feel as I should stand up for the more recent cartoons too. I love plenty of the new cartoons out there. I get a kick out of stuff like Teen Titans, Justice League, Mucha Lucha. I dunno about the Tutenstein thing, though. Granted there is plenty of crap nowadays too but, jeez, we had plenty of stinker cartoons we only admire because we are nostalgic.

yes, I do remember both Gravedale High and Camp Candy.

Those things creep me out, man. I think it's the hands, only they're not really hands, you know? They've got flippers for arms, and they smack things with the flippers..... I just can't handle that kind of thing.

Wow Cash, here I thought you were more down with the latest toons than that. This cartoon has been on for at least a year or two now. Not bad when compared to losers like Recess or Pokemon.

I was going to mention that one. I find myself watching it even when my daughter isn't around. Not fantastic, but I enjoy it.

I don't know if this was your point or not, but it's pretty funny to me that people are talking about the great cartoons of their age, which, if you were just exposed to them today, you would say are complete crap. Then they go and rip on the new cartoons today, saying they're complete crap. Back in my day, we watched Thundercats. I had fond memories. And then I saw it on Cartoon Network. I admit it still amused me, but on a totally different level than it had before.

And, hey, at least it's not a blatant money-thieving scheme like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh in particular.

Hmm...Classics like Transformers and G.I.Joe. I loved those. Of course, having seen a classic episode more recently, they were shallow as a mirage...or the genepools of some of the people I deal with. Of course, they were also advertising vehicles for toys.

But G.I.Joe had some great public service announcements.
