Man, all week they were saying we were going to have two days of thunderstorms. Then yesterday it took until almost 9PM to get even some drizzle, even though the official word was a 90% chance of rain by 8PM. Last night it rained some, and this morning it rained a little.
This doesn't count the tiny bit we got in the last 24 hours, but it doesn't matter, we're still way, way behind, and we're right at the end of the "rainy" season.
The storm that happened earlier this month while most of the people who post in this thread were out of town at weddings got us to just above half of normal.

Either it's end times, we're in for a very rainy late spring/early summer, or it's fire season all summer long...
Again, not sure if it's going to be measurable, but it's definitely raining. Giant big fat summer rain drops. Which is cool, and sounds great and all (and any moisture is good moisture in the dry season), but they've also said there's a chance of thunderstorms, and if we're getting rain in the city in July, thunderstorms in the mountains seem likely, and if the mountains get thunderstorms and we don't get a lot more rain, there's a good chance for fire.
Also, any rain we get right now counts toward the 2012-13 precipitation totals, but for the record here's what the 2011-12 chart ended up looking like:
Got to walk through a nice little thundershower on the way home from work. Big, fat drops for a short little time. So much time since we've been able to post here.

Seriously. There was actually a considerable (read: measurable) amount of rain on the Northeast side of town, too.
Got up this morning and it was lightly raining, but the sun was shining over the hills, which was pretty cool. Then I thought "Hey, it's raining, and the sun is shining... there should be a rainbow around here somewhere!" Looked around and saw this:
Been drizzling for a couple days now, yesterday it rained off and on, and tonight it was pouring for a little bit. Right now it's just cold, though. Hopefully it keeps raining though, we're already below average for the season.
