Rain?! In June? WTF?

Yes, it's true. The ground is wet from moisture falling from the sky... in June.

And here's a real, normal rainy-season storm. Has the rainy season actually begun? We'll see.

Oh, you kids. I'm still watching the two feet of snow we got last Saturday melt away. I'd trade for your weather in a heartbeat.

Finally. Fucking hell.

I mean, it's been weeks since we've had measurable rainfall. We've fallen behind the curve.

i havent seen the sun here in cincy for like 3 days so the fact that someone would get botherd that it rains once every two weeks in LA should just shut the hell up.

Most people don't get bothered that it rains in LA. Usually it's like "HOLY FUCK WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT FALLING FROM THOSE CLOUDS!?!" And then we do a little dance.

The only time people get pissy about it is when things flood. Which happens, because you know, it never rains here, so it doesn't take much to make it flood.

Yeah, yesterday was awesome. That said, we're still way, way, way behind the curve. We're near the end of what should be the rainy season, and we've had only 3 major rain events since the beginning of December.

Which is about 2 weeks a year, give or take by my calculations.

Northern California is way behind the curve, too. Most places here are at about half of normal rainfall.
