I fucking Hate Verizon!

I hate Comcast. I only get local phone service from Verizon.

They can hear you, they just refuse to listen?

My phone line needed service, so I had to take the day off. They told me a service rep would be here between 8-12. well, I called at 12:30 when nobody had showed up. The told me I needed s specialist, and that they would show up anywhere between now and 5 pm. Why didn't you tell me that in the first fucing place? Why did you tell me 8-12 when you knew I'd need a specialist, and that the specialist would be there between 8-5 instead of 8-12.

again, I say fuck you verizon.

I ordered up Verizon DSL to get Cablevision the fuck out of my house. First they tell me I can have the new 3Mbps service, then they tell me I'm too far after I order it, I get it set up and I might as well be on dial up!

Cancelling - thank god I hadn't shut off my cable modem yet.

i hate verizon, as much as some people hate comcast i'll stick with them for my cable, and cingular for my cell phone.

If I want cable, I don't really have a choice. Comcast is really the only option for Montgomery County, MD. The only other one I'm aware of is to get a dish, and that really isn't an option in most apartment complexes. So I just smile and accept the shit sandwiches I get from Comcast

I got charged with 547 on my phone bill once from them.

Verizon is not on the top of my list.

I am forced to have Verizon. I live in an apartment that can not get cable. I am also forced to one day get satelite. Goddamnit.

I got verizon dsl... thats 35 a month. I didnt want a phone line but they said i "needed one to get dsl" ive lived in other places that dont require that. just a straight dsl line.

I pay 50 bucks for a phoneline I never use and dont want. I fucking hate verizon. I want them out of my life.

DSL runs over a normal phone line. $50 a month total for the service is a bit steep, though.

all phone companies are like that.

as far as wireless goes, verizon's been perfectly good to me. got more minutes than I need for the same $$ qwest used to charge me for a ground line.

Both Verizon and Comcast have been very civil with me ... sorry to buck the trend.

Verizon hasnt been so bad to me. Comcast however.... fuck those assholes. They shut off my cable for non payment. I called and was ready to pay everything I owed, but they told me itd take several days to flip a fucking switch to turn me back on, and plus I'd have to give them a deposit. I told them to go fuck themselves, and that they wouldnt ever see a penny of the $110 I owe them then.
Let them take me to court if the fat cats want their $110 that bad.

I'm gonna get Dish TV. My parents have had them for years with no issues.

They may actually take you to court. We took over our apartment from a girl we know. When we started our cable, comcast picked up her old boxes. They later claimed they never received them and are still hounding her for payment.

Yeach both companies blow. I have a choice though, RCN.

I just want to deal with one company for all of it. I want one bill with a fat discount for consolidating my services. But alas that is a pipe dream.

I never had boxes/remotes from them. I ran it straight to the back of my TV. Let them take me to court. I know where the local comcast headquarters is. They wouldnt be the first company i've "squared away" with. But I probably shouldnt talk about any of that.

Very few things get my goat worse than this disturbing trend among commercial service providers. Uh, have you ever heard of the concept of ``single heads of household''? They are millions of us. We aren't married, there is no homemaker waiting around all day for you to show up at your lesiure. Let's make an appointment. Tell me what time you will be there, and you had better fucking be there! When you don't show up, you are costing me my valuable vacation time. Time is $$. Should I send YOU the bill?

I just turned off my dish network. One night, suddenly, I had no reception. They would send someone out to fix it, it would cost $100.

I laughed and said, "ok I would like to cancel my service then."

The next day some rep. called since I had never missed a payment and been a subscriber for 16 months, so I was a "valued customer".

I explained that I find it ridiculous to be expected to pay $100 to fix a service that I am already paying for and not recieving.

I have comcast for phone now. I went with a local colorado company for awhile, and they fucking sucked!

No options out here. Verizon for phone, Oceanic Time Warner for cable. Both cost to much a month for me to add either DSL or broadband to them.
