I liked the first one cause it touch few things about the movie but could stand alone and be good. This couldnt stand up with a case of viagra.
Too much plot advance, not enough story development.
And yeah....The might make a sequel?
What the hell is that? It only leaves the end screaming give us more money next summer....
I only say that if you have never played the game you MIGHT like it but I doubt it...
*Points*
Mortal Kombat... Street Fighter... The Wizard... Super Mario Bros.
WTF do you expect dude? All video-game-based movies are crap on some level... but I still love 'em.
i've never played the game. i love the movies. since when has a movie made from anything stayed true to it's source? i can't wait to see more ass-kicking milla!
i played the games, and i agree with most of you. i loved it, and hated it, i also think it's just another way to capitalize on something somone already wrote,
therfore the big wigs sitting up in hollywood don't actully have to do any thinking of there own..
they can be like hey "my kid was playing this game last night, and we should make a movie out of it".
I don't understand why everyone is bashing these movies so much because I think they fuckin rock. Were you really expecting oscar winning performances etc.? And also...these movies were not meant to follow the story lines of the games at all. They are the director's take on the RE games, concepts etc. Hence the character 'Alice' and so many other aspects of the movies. Paul W.S. Anderson wanted to make these movies so that you wouldn't necessarily have to have played the game to like or understand the movie/story.
