ribisi was in my favorite episode of the x-files... d.p.o. he is a great actor.

Holy shit I've been following his career for as long as I can remember.

Ribisi is great... first saw him in SubUrbia. However, I gotta say that I think this Sky Captain movie looks shitty.

dude I loved him as Cory Kupkis on "My Two Dads" I could so identify with that character. Saw the preview of "FLight of the Phoenix" yesterday. i t looks damn good.

Even though everyone seems to think Boiler Room sucked, I really liked that movie and Giovanni was great as the lead.

It definitely is a poor man's Glengarry Glenross, but I think anyone would be hard pressed to replicate that movie.

Giovanni is the MAN. He's defintiely in contention for the best actor of his generation.

I've loved him since x-files. It's so true, how your eyes go right to him. Very talented, and I'd like to see him get more lead roles. But not shit like Boiler Room. Bad movie.

I just saw Sky Captain. It was pretty fucking cool, if you think of it as a Metropolis or Buck Rogers (not the one with Gil Gerard or whatever his name is) late-30s sci-fi meets noir film. The was it's shot is really breathtaking, between the CG stuff and the way it's lit--SO cool. Not heavy on plot, but it isn't supposed to be. Very War of the Worlds or Metropolis.

He was simply amazing in Saving Private Ryan as the medic. The second time I saw that in the theater, I had to get up and stand in the lobby for a few minutes during his death scene. It was just too intense for me to watch again, knowing that the only one in the unit who had the slightest chance to save a dying man was the one with a bullet through him. Incedibly tragic and powerful...

werd.. i was at one of those over-budged, over-produced award shows a while back and happened to see him in the men's room. i peered over and saw that he had l. ron hubbard's face tattoo'd on his cock.
