Last night. Had trouble getting to sleep because of this overwhelmingly odd feeling. I end up falling asleep I guess around four in the morning. I start dreaming. I am in a large auditorium type room with a row of office cubicles in it. I am sitting at a desk in one of the cubicles working (odd because that is not even close to the kind of work I do). I stand up and walk out of my cubicle. I turn and all of the cubicles are closed. The room suddenly becomes flooded with women in Victorian type ballroom dress. They are all talking to each other. None of them seem to notice me. I turn again and all of the women are gone. Now the cubicles are filled with loaves of dry homemade bread. Suddenly all is black. I see a face. It turns away from me. I am looking at the back of the face's head. There is a mouth on it. The mouth opens and makes an audible rasping breath in. I quickly wake up. I am very awake, but I cannot move anything. I couldn't move my arms, legs, or toes. I couldn't even move my mouth or tongue. The only thing I feel I have control over are my eyes, which are are still closed. However, I am scared to open them, because I feel a presence in front of me, very close to my face. This goes on for several minutes. It all stopped very abruptly. I could move again, the feeling of the presence had vanished. I slowly opened my eyes, and all was normal.
That is a common experience. It's called Sleep Paralysis. Here's another link with more info.

I used to get Night Terrors, which are insanely bad. Sometimes I'd wake up in the morning with my hands and arms fucking black and blue, with holes in my walls where I had beaten through in my sleep. Or sometimes, I'd get stuck in that half-awake state where I know I'm dreaming, but I know what's going on, I'm aware that I'm terrified, and aware that I'm hitting things, but unable to do a damn thing about it.
Alright. I get the Sleep Paralysis thing. I, however, am still freaking confused about the dream itself. Work to fancy ladies to old bread to evil mouth ?
according to some dream dictionary site i just googled:
work (job): you're unsatisfied or unfulfilled with your life and you should work on that.
can't find anything for the fancy ladies.
bread: success, wealth and honor.
if i had to hazard a guess on the evil mouth, something is making you aprehensive or nervous or something.
