I agree with breast feeding. Both my kids were bf'ed and they are healthier than most of the kids I know that weren't. In general, bf'ed kids are healthier thanks to all the antibodies passed from mother to child in the process.
And, if you really need another reason, have you ever changed the diaper of a bf'ed kid and then changed a formula baby? Holy shit! Or rather unholy smelling shit I should say... So, if not for the kid's health, at lest do it for your own sense of smell....

LOL... I still remember the first time I saw the seedy mustard crap and how much of an enigma it was. It was not malodorous, but more freakishly weird. Another one of those things they forget to warn you about in the pregnancy books...

oof....Lain....buddy.....back away from the thread.
Lain should back away from every thread.
Oh, and I plan to breastfeed.
Dude, did you know that, with some work, men actually can breast-feed? I was actually amazed to learn this.
did you also know that some women who adopt newborns prepare their breasts for months and are actually able to produce milk and breastfeed their adopted children??? isn't that weird....

yeah, my youngest ended up spraying one of the nurses with that stuff right after he popped out....scary stuff.....but pretty darn funny....
Breast is best, but I'd never try to change someone's mind. So long as they've made an informed choice it's their decision, no matter how bad a decision it is.
What's bad is formula providers pushing formula as best in developing world countries.
Some countries used to allow manufacturers to donate formula milk. This is bad for lots of reasons: breast is best, some places don't have clean water, some people can't follow the instructions to make formula properly.
The WHO have guidelines, and infant food manufacturers have guidelines, so it isn't as bad as it was. But it still sucks.
