That movie is so bad that it actually goes farther than being so bad it's good, it actually is so bad that it's good it's so bad cause that means that it'll never see a sequel and you'd only be able to find it at the bottom of the bargain bin at Amoeba.

He was in She's So Lovely & Mystic River, the 2 worst movies I've ever seen in a theatre, so I blame him.

Interesting how many of the films listed over the years in this thread are ones that I own.
Some because I love a good bad movie, some because I thought an actress was cute, some... well... some because I needed a DVD or laserdisc to fill out one of those buy-four-for-$15 type deals.

Then there are movies like Amazon Women on the Moon which I genuinely enjoy. My mind boggles at how, say, that movie could have been the worst movie someone had ever seen.

These are some bad ones I saw in a theater:



Brigitte Nielsen in Domino. An 80s-style Euro softcore porn movie; slow-moving, vaguely creepy, and... well... if you've ever wanted to see Brigitte Nielsen masturbate, well, this is the movie for you.

I was 15 when I saw this in a theater; I was all excited about getting to see some softcore. I was pretty disappointed... and when you manage to not fulfill the meager expectations of a nudity-seeking 15-year-old, you've managed to craft a pretty crappy movie.




My Stepmother Is an Alien. I dunno what I was expecting of this movie, exactly, when I saw it in theaters. Just dull.



Saw this one projected against a bedsheet by someone touring in a van with a print of the film; I admired the tenacity of someone touring with their vision, city by city, getting a buzz by word-of-mouth... then I actually watched it, and thought... well, crap, this was just ineptly filmed, no wonder the film's being shown out of a van. An amateurish comedy.

I ran across it being shown on BET a few years ago, so the filmmaker eventually got out of the van...

I'll say it again so it gets to sink in ... Can't Stop the Music . Starring the Village People & Bruce Jenner ! Yes , Bruce Jenner the Olympic athlete , not a actor with the same name . And directed by Nancy Walker , who was famous for starring in Bounty paper towel adds . Other then maybe Manos the Hands of Fate , I dare anyone to actually find something worse . The one movie I haven't seen that I'd like to for comparison sake is Myra Beckinridge , starring Rachel Welch . Xanadu would be right up there too .

Fucking horrible. But, then again, we watched at a "Bad Movie" party... We also watched carnosaur, so take that as you will.

The movie is terrible. Stilted dialog, horrible camera work and the sequences where she, *ahem*, 'takes out the mobsters' are literally 2-3 minutes of her stalking through a hallway with her arms in the air and her massive breasts just kind of swaying as she stalks some unsuspecting mobster. And then smothers them. With her tits. While looking like she's compiling a grocery list in her head...

Pootie Tang. Mother Fucking Pootie Tang. GAHHHHHHHH

Ninth Gate, hands down shittiest movie I've ever seen. I'm talking "big budget" it was in a theater movies. Who fuckin cares if it had Johnny Depp in it, it sucked ass.

First Knight, the crapulous Richard Gere/Sean Connery Arthurian flick. I only watched it because the other option at the cinema that day was Judge Dredd, and I couldn't bear the thought of watching Sly destroy my childhood hero. As it was, I think we buggered off before the end.

Also, Zandalee. An early Nic Cage vehicle. Allegedly an 'erotic thriller' that also starred Judge Reinhold (remember him, kids?) and Erika Anderson. You know...Erika Anderson. Yeah, THAT Erika Anderson, who went on to star in so many of our favourite disaster-of-the-week TV movies.

I've seen so many bad movies , that if I had $1 for each one I've seen, I could start up my own production company.

I've probably said it already in this thread, but Battlefield Earth.....what a piece of shit. Day of the Triffods is even better then Battlefield Earth.
