Don't know where else to post this so I'm trying here.

So I'm currently facing a dillema. I've had pretty much the same hair for a really fucking long time now and I think its time for a change. Not to mention it never looks combed even 5 minutes after I combed it. Also the majority of girls don't seem to like it very much. So anyway I'm looking for a new haircut. This is what my hair looks like now, anyone have any suggestions? Link to pics if you can. My new-ex suggested this haircut David Bowie has on a shirt I got last time I saw him...

except without the highlights. I really need tons of input on this one so help out if you can. Should I go with Bowie or something else?

The question isn't should you go with Bowie, but can you go with Bowie. If you can't be as cool as the Thin White Duke, then you shouldn't wear his hair.

I like the David Bowie hair cut. I think Trent Reznor pulls it off very nicely as well, although he parts his on the other side. tongue

if you can handle me posting in your journal every few days with things like, 'dude... david bowie called. he wants his haircut back...' go for it. it's a cool 'do...

actually i won't be posting in your journal. at least not every few days...

Dude, it's hair. It isn't really this important.

It's funny you should say that. I call Trent at least once a week just to say that. Then I hang up giggling. tongue

I think that would look great on you, especially since your hair likes to look "messy" even after you've just combed it. It's an easy style to pull off and doesn't require much maintenance.

I just wonder if it's going to bug you since you're used to having your hair behind your ears. I tuck my hair back, too, so wearing some of it against my face in certain styles tends to get on my nerves.

No ordinary human is capable of achieving that level of coolness.

ignore MrStiches.

the bowie would work really well for you, though i'd suggest having it cut a bit longer than the pictures you posted--they can always cut more if you like. if you go too short right away, you're might walk out feeling like a fratboy... and longer everywhere; not just the front. if it's too short in back, you may walk out feeling like the kid from the 'it's the end of the world as we know it (and i feel fine)' video...

also, don't go to a fucking supercuts. get recommendations from people with good hair. even strangers. then, once you've had it cut a few times and you know what you like, you can--maybe--go somewhere cheaper.

those are my two cents.

That's a pretty scary picture of Trent Reznor. Anyway thanks for the advice everyone.

"his" hair is nothing but an 80s skater guy cut. i don't think you have to worry over it. perhaps you could think of yourself as living up to ed furlong in T2 instead.
