Yeah, I've had to do that too (push special "deals" on people...ah, the retail business)

We've actually tried recieving them over e-mail, but we get those late too. I think they've got something against us specifically . I keep it though because I do get free movies, I rent a lot of them when I'm at college and bored and there's no good indie video store in my neighborhood.

I have no idea why you're getting screwed on the coupons, save for possibly geographic reasons, but I don't know where you reside. I know it happens sometimes though. Bitch to the manager, or get the movie pass (which will turn you into a creepy blockbuster regular/movie whore).
